Posted by Tim O’Leary on March 29, 2018 06:15:08 It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a pineapple juice cocktail, and that’s a testament to the fact that pineapple juice is a staple of our daily diet.
A pineapple juice and pineapple salad can be paired with a variety of fruits, or served as a simple side to accompany your lunch or dinner.
For this post, I’m sharing a recipe for pineapple juice plus white cranberries, which is a great pairing with the pineapple ice cream and a salad.
You’ll be surprised by how easy it is to make a pineapple drink using only simple ingredients.
Pineapple juice plus cranberries recipe (with recipe) Ingredients 1/2 pound pineapple juice (see below) 1/4 cup white cane sugar 1 cup white grape juice (or a mix of grape and cane sugar) 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/16 teaspoon ground ginger 1/6 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/3 teaspoon ground cloves 1/5 teaspoon ground turmeric 1/1 teaspoon salt 1/10 teaspoon ground pepper Directions Place the pineapple juice in a small saucepan and heat on medium heat.
Allow the pineapple to sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
Pour the pineapple juices into a blender, using a high-speed attachment.
Blend until smooth.
Pour in the white cane and grape juice.
Blend again until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a glass or serving dish.
Garnish with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and serve.
Notes *Note: The white cane is a sweet and mild flavor that doesn’t overpower the pineapple.
However, if you’re using a grape juice concentrate, add a few drops of pure vanilla to taste.
You can also use any fruit juice concentrate for this recipe, but I like the citrusy flavor from cranberries. 3.5.3208
